Pan-African researchers unlock computers for African languages on Mother Language Day

In celebration of International Mother Language Day, a Pan African Network of computer and language experts is ensuring that computers are unlocked for mother tongue speakers.

The Windows Keyboard is available for download at Google Code (http://code.google.com/p/africakeyboards/downloads/list). At the moment, only four languages are included -- Akan, Hausa, Ga and Ewe. The rest will be added later. Please bear in mind that this is only the proof of concept and not the final work.
